— MISSION —
As a Transaction Reporting Data / Business Analyst, you will help the organization with their business integration projects towards their Wall Street clients. You’ll be responsible for business analysis, large data management tactics and some Python testing, all in an Agile environment.
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong object-relational mapping knowledge, experience with server-side logic, and above-average knowledge of Python programming.
— RESPONSIBILITIES —
- Analyze the business of the client and the large amount of transactional reporting data used by them
- Clean and structure the data better and prepare it for the next team to use
- Test some of the programming language used for data management
- Contribute and help improve the agile sprints used by the project team
- Simplify the amount and complexity of data used by the client
This will all be in the context of a One-team global Center of Excellence & Innovation. You will directly contribute to the future global service suite.
— REQUIREMENTS —
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong quantitative approach and brilliant analytical skills
- Statistical and modelling skills, Data Mining and Machine Learning
- Passion and expertise in exploration, data analysis and modelling: our team designs and develops systems to support strategic business decisions
- Good command of Python and related technologies like SQL, Pandas, Alchemy, etc
- Previous background working for clients in the banking sector
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system
- Familiarity with testing tools
- Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
- Consulting approach with advanced interpersonal and comms skills
- Customer orientation, to achieve goals and attitude to work in team
- Adaptability, flexibility, precision and stress tolerance, in compliance with deadlines
