Experian India is looking for a Manager, Data Intelligence to take responsibility of Data Delivery & Management for Experian India’s Data Intelligence team
The Data Intelligence and Data Delivery team is a part of the India HSA which works under strict security protocols for data-management with focus on managing the data processing, analysis, and delivery of client specific requirements in an accurate and timely manner.
The Data intelligence team caters to the following requirements of the Experian India operations:
1. Processing of offline deliveries for the Credit services business which contributes to around 50% of the revenue of the BU
2. Processing of data for a multitude of generic as well as bespoke analytics requirements
What you’ll be doing (Job responsibilities for this role)
- The role requires the person to ensure data accuracy and timely availability of primary data in the core offline delivery systems and manage the engagement with the technology team for ensuring the quality of the data extracted into the offline delivery system.
- Primary responsibility would be to create Bureau Insights, Retail & Commercial Industry Insights refresh and other customized reports.
- Doing data quality check for all outputs and maintaining accuracy of bureau data and ensuring timely delivery.
- Managing increasing escalations from clients on data gaps in the offline processing system requiring investment of quality time to determine the extent of gaps and to work closely with the technology team to fix the same
- Driving automation projects to automate existing data delivery process
- You perform tasks to analyze the data, safeguard our data quality and interpret the data in the right way.
- Liaison for both internal and external audit, helping resolve observations
- Process improvement to help maintain client delivery TAT as the business scales
What you’ll need to bring along (Your prior experience & Expertise)
- Around 6-10 years of experience in data-based & operations role (managing Datawarehouse or Big data platform)
- Someone with previous team management experience who was part of business intelligence unit of financial institutions or technology team will be added advantage
- Strong to moderate English communication skill
- Analytical thinking with numerical and data problem solving skills
- Understanding of data, data structures and their value regarding use for Financial Reporting, Analysis, Marketing and CRM
- Attention to detail
- Time management to complete multiple tasks to set deadlines
Additional Information
- Essential: Python and SQL.
- SAS knowledge is added advantage
- Proficiency in making dashboards in Excel
