Responsibilities:
1. Understand and Analyze Test Requirements
2. Functional Gap Analysis
3. Prepare artifacts – Test Strategy, Test Scope, Requirements traceability Matrix
4. Interact with User Leader and Product Group Leads to obtain required clarifications
5. Resolve clarifications to the test planning team
6. Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements, reporting on system quality and collecting metrics on test cases.
7. Reviews the Test artifacts prepared by the junior team members and guides the team to achieve the project goals
8. Review of all data requirements for testing
9. Execute test cases and log results
10. Defect Management – Defect logging & Tracking to closure
11. Conduct & Participate in Defect Review Meetings
12. Investigates defined issues with uncertain cause and solicits input in gathering data that help identify and differentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems.
13. Prepare and publish Root cause analysis for defects raised
14. Identifies and defines regression tests for current and future projects.
15. Prepare Change impact – functional analysis documents
16. Timely Escalation of any Risks in the project to the Project Lead / Manager
17. Maintains the status of project and provides on-time status reports to the leads to achieve project /Group goals
18. Prepares and publish Final Test Summary Report
19. Recommend process improvements to meet/ scale up project deliverables quality and deadlines.
20. Preparation of training material for the team and vertical practice. • Excellent understanding of Cards and payments domain

- Knowledge and experience in Business Analysis activities – Process mapping, requirement gathering, gap analysis, documentation, Root Cause Analysis
- Experience in handling a team to guide them through the project and be accountable for the quality of the project
- Experience in handling the functionalities across the Card life cycle right from Application boarding to Collections etc. in TSYS PRIME / VisionPLUS or any other card management systems
- Excellent knowledge and hands on testing experience in any card management system (TYSYS Prime / VisionPLUS etc. )
- Deep Knowledge of the sub modules in any of the below applications
o TSYS Prime and Online

§ CMS

§ LMS

§ ITS
o TSO / File Aid (Value add)
- Excellent communication skills
- Key Defect triage skills, perseverance to get to root cause of defects
- Ability to escalate and take firm accountability
- Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and delivery processes (including waterfall and agile methodologies)
