SUMMARY

Provides support to the organization performing analytical data gathering and analysis with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret data into actionable information for end-users to apply in driving organization improvement, strategic planning, and other applications with the use of statistical programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience in database administration, production support, design, development and dissemination of actionable data.
  • Create and run routine operational and clinical reports as well as Ad-hoc Reports, data analytics, data reporting, graphs, scales, PivotTables and data extraction.
  • Ability to create scorecards, dashboards using stack graphs, bar graphs, scatter plots and Gantt charts.
  • Creative, innovative and intellectually curious to develop end-user reports and actionable data tools.
  • Prepare dashboards with drill-down functions.
  • Gather and report routine information or criteria specific data per timelines.
  • Search and retrieve protected information.
  • Prepare appropriate and accurate reports for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organization abilities that allow for timely and efficient deadlines to be met.
  • Recommend appropriate data sources for information requested.
  • Provides end-user support as needed, including development of report distribution mechanisms and training departmental staff in use of reporting tools.
  • Develop and deliver effective one-on-one training.
  • Effective presentation of data collection tools and analysis in small or large group settings.
  • Provides effective technical support via telephone, in-person or e-mail.
  • Interprets data into actionable information for end-users to apply in driving organization improvement, strategic planning, and award applications with the use of statistical programs.
  • Maintain and update dashboards/interfaces.
  • Create, maintain, and update routine paper reports for a variety of end-users within established metrics.
  • Apply appropriate analytical techniques to help identify opportunities for improvement related to key metrics.
  • Provides consultation to PI Teams and various departments on how to best conduct data gathering and analysis focusing on data and method integrity, as requested.
  • Assists in development of methods for data querying and manipulation and the design of analytical models.
  • Assists in identifying quality performance improvement opportunities within the organization.
  • Strong ability to develop, implement, maintain, and modify auditing, reporting, and trending tools and systems as required.
  • Ability to create and maintain data source for statistical software.
  • Ability to create and maintain indicators within statistical software.
  • Ability to use appropriate software to develop and automate auditing tools.
  • Capable of utilizing Queries and Pivot Tables, performing data collection and analysis, and developing new ways for automating the reports.
  • Ability to maintain, prepare and manipulate Pivot Tables in databases.
  • Ability to analyze reports for appropriate data based on required need.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with team members to meet the needs for the organization. Ability to develop, coordinate, and implement multiple projects.
  • Ability to develop, implement, maintain, and modify auditing, reporting, and trending tools, and systems as required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and other software applications as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of three years of experience in providing analytical data gathering and analysis.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
