Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru

Essential Functions of the job:
โ€ข    Support the Talent Functions in preparing and submitting their annual budget proposals
โ€ข    Monitor spending by preparing monthly reports of actuals and report variances against approved budgets
โ€ข    Produce reports, integrate, manipulate, analyze and clearly present data to provide insights effectively for the Functions and the Talent leadership
โ€ข    Review Employee Update form submissions and update headcount reports 
โ€ข    Reconcile Talent and Finance reports on budgets and headcount to ensure accuracy of data
โ€ข    Maintain Talent Executive engagement codes and approver matrix
โ€ข    Manage and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders aligned to allocated processes
โ€ข    Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the Finance and Procurement contacts to ensure any cross-functional initiatives are managed effectively
โ€ข    Continuously improve the allocated operational processes
โ€ข    Due to the global nature of the role; travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have 

  •     Strong knowledge of Talent operating model and operations standards, processes and practices
    โ€ข    Knowledge of one or more operations processes (e.g., Financial Management, Vendor Management) 
    โ€ข    Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel

Ideally, youll also have

  •     Strong attention to detail and data administration and analytics skills, with a focus on working with large quantities of data from various sources
    โ€ข    Proven analytical skills, with a methodical, problem-solving mind-set
    โ€ข    Data interpretation skills, aptitude to identify and present relevant findings (written and verbal) 
    โ€ข    Ability to participate effectively in virtual teams and networks across diverse and dispersed geographies
    โ€ข    Strong teaming skills; collaborate effectively across talent ecosystem, other CBS functions, and wider EY firm 
    โ€ข    Strong communication skills for sharing thought leadership across EY and externally to enhance EY reputation 
    โ€ข    Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate within budget and effective time frames
    โ€ข    Ability to respond well to deadlines and work outside of normal hours when required and be comfortable working on a number of activities concurrently
    โ€ข    Due to the global nature of the role; English language skills – excellent written and verbal communication will be required
    โ€ข    Educated to degree level. Higher professional or masters qualification is preferred, not required

โ€ข    Demonstrable experience in a closely related Talent or operations role
โ€ข    Comfort and/or experience working in globally dispersed teams to deliver services, processes, and standards 
โ€ข    Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced, ambiguous, stressful environments to deliver required results
โ€ข    Demonstrable experience of anticipating issues and challenges and proactively working to navigate challenges
