Job Location: Trivandrum, Kerala, The Great Bharat
Job Detail:
We are looking for a motivated individual with an understanding of ETL, data integrations and Data Warehousing to join our data team in implementing cloud-based data platforms for our clients.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge & experience in data engineering concepts and best practices and will receive any necessary training on Data Engineering in Microsoft Azure/GCP and any other technologies used within Factiveminds.
What You’ll Be Doing
Understanding agile development methodology and practicing it in day-to-day work
Delivering high-level and low-level design documents with middleware strategy, standards and adhering to BEM middleware principles
Ensuring DevOps principles are adopted in applications
Undertaking analysis of change requests / incidents against applications / products within domain
Handling story-based development /unit test and adherence to all coding standards
Documenting all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind
Writing and maintaining processes that ingest raw data into the Data Lake.
Supporting a range of data access mechanisms into customer data ecosystems
Developing and maintaining high-quality integrations into an operator’s chosen 3rd party tooling, for example, CRM, ERP or financial processing systems
Collaborating with the team to refine scope and define solutions to business requirements.
Supporting the testing of new and existing data flows
Monitoring and maintaining the data pipeline in pre-production and production environments.
Provide support for client environments and the data processes running in them
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge of SQL / PL SQL – Relational (Oracle/Teradata) & NoSQL (MongoDB)
Experience working with ETL processes (any off-the-shelf solutions)
Ability to interpret complex business requirements
Unix and Shell scripting experience
Desirable Skills
Understanding of bigdata, ETL & Data lake principles
Experience handling data using Python/Java
Understanding of agile methodologies and/or experience working in a scrum team
Skills That Will Help You In The Role
Data modelling knowledge
Previous experience of working as Developer/ analyst
** Freshers with good technical expertise & have undergone trainings on Cloud and ETL can also apply.
