In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of more senior staff to maintain and enhance the District-wide business continuity program. Assists with maintaining business continuity procedures, scenarios, and contingency plans for key services and business functions. Works closely with business units and various levels of management to coordinate routine updates to information supporting the business continuity function. Ideal candidate will be a strong communicator who can engage Bank leaders in open discussions, training, and exercises related to business continuity. Relevant skills include facilitating discussions, applying industry best practices, generating goals and accountability for results.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners with leaders in other departments to update planning documentation, maintain appropriate tracking, evaluate plan effectiveness, and recommend appropriate recovery practices to strengthen existing continuity plans.
  • Ensures business areas are familiar with the relevant provisions of their business continuity plans and are adequately trained to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Assists each critical functional area of the organization with development and maintenance of business resumption plans and testing.
  • Provides support for technical tests, business continuity exercises, risk management activities, and vendor due diligence practices upon request.
  • Maintains a central repository of business continuity information, including business area recovery plans, emergency District response procedures, and contact information.
  • Coordinates the maintenance of internal and offsite contingency equipment and facilities.
  • Under the direction of senior staff provides timely analysis and response for incident reporting/information requests.
  • Completes multiple simultaneous projects and ensures all deadlines and objectives are achieved.
  • Monitors industry/organizational trends and recommends or implements related program modifications or process improvements.
Skills:
  • Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience. Three or more years experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience.
  • Incumbent must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless the Bank grants an accommodation based on a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.

  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Initiative to work with others to accomplish goals collaboratively.

  • Experience with Tableau preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and great team member.
