The Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank’s Learning Management Support Office (LMSO) Business Unit is seeking to hire a Business Analyst. We have a unique opportunity in Minneapolis for someone with experience in administering and managing applications to serve all twelve Federal Reserve Banks and the Board of Governors. Business Analysts in the Learning Management Support Office (LMSO) provide outstanding support to customers, manage daily Learning Management System (LMS) operations, handle compliance activities and serve as a subject-matter expert for the LMS and supporting applications.

Note: This is a two-year long-term temporary benefits eligible position.

An essential function of this position is working onsite; this position qualifies for a hybrid working arrangement that supports remote work, but generally requires being onsite at least (3) days per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Support daily operations and system checks to ensure systems are working correctly
  • Serve as a resource, consultant, and advisor to end-users on learning management functionality, processes, training, policies and resolving technical issues
  • Develop and maintain strong subject matter expertise in the Saba Cloud LMS and related LMSO applications
  • Work collaboratively with Information Technology and Learning Management Support Office (LMSO) staff to answer customer questions, troubleshoot issues, and find creative solutions to technical challenges or system limitations
  • Participate in upgrade testing, communication, and implementation activities
  • Manage customer requests and provide backup coverage for the LMSO team as needed
  • Assist customers with maximizing learning management technologies to meet business needs
  • Prepare, deliver, and maintain processes, training, procedures, reference materials and other necessary documentation to support the LMSO team
  • Craft and distribute communications as needed
  • Ensure key service metrics are met both individually and as part of a team
  • Complete special assignments and projects in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of directly relevant work experience
  • Experience as a user and administrator of a (Saba Cloud or other) Learning Management System and/or experience as an administrator of an IT technology application/platform.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage multiple work streams, and escalate as appropriate
  • Experienced in problem-solving and analytical skills to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Technical Skills: Have experience testing software.
  • Communication Skills: Experience interacting with developers, clients, end-users, and management.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate analytical skills in reviewing documents, data, user surveys, and workflows to identify problems.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent interpersonal communication and strong relationship management skills. Experience working across multiple divisions/departments.

  • Experience designing and delivering hybrid training across multiple departments
