The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Analyst responsible for leading privacy-related projects, conducting privacy risk assessments, developing, and maintaining program components, and collaborating with others across the organization to ensure adequate handling and safeguarding of personal information. This role reports to the Director, Data Privacy, and supports both the Minneapolis Data Privacy Office and the Federal Reserve System Privacy Program.
This position is posted at two levels: Business Analyst III and Business Analyst IV. The selected candidate will be based on the strength of the applicant pool and the needs of the business.
An essential function of this position is working onsite; this position qualifies for a hybrid working arrangement that supports remote work, but generally requires being onsite two (2) days per week.

Maintain the system-wide privacy policy, standards, and related guidance and tools, and facilitate ongoing updates to reflect changes in the industry, technology, and Federal Reserve business objectives.

Drive adoption and strong organizational understanding of the privacy program by developing and delivering communications, presentations, and training.

Research and stay current with privacy related news, regulatory changes, industry standards and best practices.

Lead and collaborate on work groups to develop, recommend, coordinate, influence and implement data privacy initiatives.

Serve as a data privacy subject matter expert to support business areas with privacy consultations, risk assessments, updates to PII inventories, and mitigation of privacy risk.

Collaborate with partners in Legal, Information Security, Records Information Management, or other relevant stakeholders to achieve joint objectives.

Support the management and resolution of privacy incidents, and prepare reports, communications, or other materials as needed.

Support privacy leadership meetings by preparing and presenting meeting materials and taking notes.

Support privacy application enhancements, including participation in work groups to identify, prioritize, and design enhancements, and complete User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Develop and maintain privacy program components, including team procedures.

Promote an environment that encourages strong employee engagement, fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace, and reduces barriers to productive work, investigating and solving problems and providing workable recommendations and solutions.

CIPP or CIPM certification (current or prior), or equivalent privacy knowledge and experience
