Department Description
The global cybersecurity & Information security (GCIS) department is a part of the Global Technology department. The Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing and customer service functions. The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day to day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation.
Global cybersecurity & Information security (GCIS) is responsible for:
- Cyber Security: Protecting the Technology Environment from internal and external security threats,
- Application Security (through secure coding practices, penetration testing, and developer training)
- Centralised Access Management – working to principles of least privilege, access appropriate to role, and Role Based Access Control Security Assurance & Compliance
- Vulnerability Management
- Security Engineering and Architecture
- Security Application Support
- Cyber Defence Operations
- Information Security Risk Management
Purpose of your role
The position is for Data Analyst in Cyber Security team. Fundamental purpose of this role is use of ‘data’ to drive ‘actionable insight’ . The role involves implementing Data pipelines and Reporting into Security Data Warehouse. Skills required for this role is candidate must have strong PL/SQL, TSQL stored procedure, SSIS and Performance Tuning knowledge on MS SQL Database platform along with hands-on experience on reporting tools such as PowerBI . The candidate should have core skills of Windows, UNIX scripting, Rest API, In addition, hands-on experience with ETL techniques. CICD DevOps would be a plus. The successful candidate will be responsible for development and support of the Security Data Warehouse application. The candidate is expected to display professional ethics in his/her approach to work and exhibit a high-level ownership within a demanding working environment.
This role is responsible for development & maintenance of Data pipelines, data warehouse and reporting . This role engages across all engineering & support teams with the ability to communicate with senior level employees as well as technical product & service owners and be able to work across all levels. Understanding business requirement from different stakeholders, discuss solution approach and team members and implement the design. This role demands person must be a good team player.

- Data Preparation & Migration (Python, SQL, Adv. Excel)
- Data Analysis and Visualization (Power BI, Python, Adv. Excel)
- Data Warehousing and Management (SQL Server 2017)
- Creating solutions to help team to report and track actions on reported action items.
- Create and maintain high quality dashboards.
- Manage Power BI workspace and perform dashboard health checks.
- Keep documentation up to date
- Knowledge on Predictive Analysis & Statistics
- Data Governance and Security Management
- Engage – productively
- With stakeholders for intelligence gathering, information sharing and increasing awareness about best practices
- Work with the consumers of data / reports for continual improvement and inclusion of feedback.
- Guide peers in team with his/her technical expertise.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Graduate from reputed institute with 5-7 years of experience and progressive working knowledge of Data analysis, ETL techniques and BI technologies.
Must Have:
- In-depth knowledge of TSQL, able to create complex SQL queries to summarize huge datasets.
- Experience of working as a data analyst preferably within Technology/IT Security
- Extensive Data Analysis and BI experience in developing dashboard and reporting.
- Design and implement complex data models and pipeline
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform would be a plus.
Good to have:
- Knowledge and experience in Data analysis using Python.
- Self-learning, self-exploring problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks without supervision.
- Excellent communication skills
Domain Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Investment Banking and Cyber Security Domain is added advantage.
