Job Description:

Fidelity’s Associate IT Process Improvement Team is looking for an individual who wants to provide data analysis and insights support for the EI AIT organization. We are a dynamic group looking to leverage a deep knowledge and understanding of our associates needs to ensure a smooth, problem-free user experience when it comes to their technology.

Reporting to the Team Leader of AIT Process Improvement, the Data Analyst will work with the Process Improvement team, Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) business partners and engineering teams to capture, analyze and compile metrics related to Incident, Change and Problem Management functions. You will maintain existing Tableau dashboards and create new content to improve visibility. You will utilize data acquired through ServiceNow, Tableau and other platforms to improve our ability to interpret data to ‘see the big picture,’ with the goal of helping the team towards firm-wide Incident reduction, proactive Problem Management, and effective Problem resolution.


The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills within infrastructure and application environments. Ability to brainstorm with teams on solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.

  • Ability to rapidly assimilate business processes, goals and objectives and distill them into well-defined stories/requirements.

  • Support Enterprise and BU requests for help in addressing major underlying system issues, including attending engagement calls to document the perceived issues.

  • Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 – 3 years’ work experience as a data analyst in the technology industry.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ask the right questions.

  • Interest in technology and User Experience as a discipline.

  • Understanding of the ITSM process as it relates to Problem Management, Incident Management and Change Management is a plus.

  • Efficiency in written and verbal communications and dedication to tailoring content to the appropriate audience (business vs. technology, associate vs. management, etc.)

  • Strong Tableau Developer skills with ability to generate advanced dynamic dashboards. Tableau Certification a plus.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Familiarity with Oracle/MS SQL databases, Power BI desirable.
