The Role

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 4+ years of financial services industry experience working as a business and/or data analyst
- Strategic thinking that connects dispersed, daily tasks with the long-term vision
- Demonstrated ability to independently drive results
- Accuracy, consistency, and precision in work approach
- Excellence in written and verbal communication, with both business and technology team members
- Knowledge of tools and techniques for data analysis, visualization, and presentation. SQL experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to see opportunities for improvement internal to the team and for our customers
- Teammate willing to pitch in, and can work effectively with both end user community and systems development staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related experience
The Team
The FFIO Data Strategy & Governance team loves data and has three focus areas. The team:
- Manages the FFIO Data Governance Program. The program is in partnership with Asset Management and aligned with the enterprise Data Management Council to deliver on program goals that will ensure that data is understood, trusted, and becomes easier to access, use, and share
- Engages with the FFIO Data Strategy, which strives to define and deliver comprehensive, high-quality data solutions for our consumers
- Is responsible for data acquisition and distribution oversight supporting the governance of access to market data and internally generated data. Our user population spans across multiple Business Units at Fidelity.
Our team is part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO). FFIO provides accounting and investment management support services for Fidelity mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products.
