Job Description:
As part of Fidelity’s Discretionary Assets & Revenue Center of Excellence, you will be building critical solutions to help inform business strategy and decision making. You will be creating automated models for forecasting assets, flows, and revenue and will get to explore a wide range of data, from industry/competitive data to customer demographics. The Team
The Discretionary Assets & Revenue Center of Excellence is a single point of expertise for Fidelity’s managed investment products, with firm-wide responsibilities for analyzing and forecasting assets and revenue. The team delivers scalable solutions to provide business leaders with valuable information on Fidelity’s products, competitors, and broader industry trends. The team has a mix of finance and data professionals and delivers value by seeking out automation opportunities, creating process efficiencies, and delivering data-driven insights to help inform senior leaders across the organization.
The Expertise You Have

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of data science experience
The Skills You Bring

Experience in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data using SQL or SQL-like languages

Experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches, machine learning and/or other AI techniques

Experience with statistical data analysis such as regression, probability, and classification

Experience in programming using Python, R, and/or equivalent programming language

Experience in communicating analysis in a clear, concise, and actionable manor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools

Experience with Alteryx is preferred, but not required
The Value You Deliver
You will play a critical role in building out a data science capability within the team, as we look to upgrade our analysis and forecasting capabilities. You will work to develop data science solutions by identifying and gathering data, transforming it, performing modeling and analysis, and delivering insights. You will be able to distill large amounts of complex information into actionable solutions and will present their work clearly and concisely, with impactful visualizations to articulate the story. They will accomplish this by collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including finance and technology associates and will be able to communicate their work to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
