It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work remotely 100% of the time and will share a hoteling workspace if/when working onsite, as determined by business needs. The incumbent can work remotely from anywhere in the United States, unless otherwise specified in the job posting. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

FNBO is seeking a Junior React Developer to join the Operational Data Store team to work on our customer preference center application. The ideal candidate has enough experience to hit the ground running and a desire to learn and grow their skillset. You work well as part of a dynamic agile team, can work independently, and have a strong desire to deliver outcomes. You are humble enough to know when to ask for help but driven enough to tackle coding challenges head on. Whether at the beginning of your career or an experienced professional you recognize that there is always more to learn and actively pursue new skills.
About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Work with development teams and product owners to ideate software solutions to build awesome react applications using modern JavasScript and CSS frameworks.
- Integrate experience APIs into React Application
- Execute both manual and automated test scripts to ensure responsiveness, efficiency, and quality of react application and APIs.
- Troubleshoot and debug software.
- Actively participate in our Agile Scrum process by helping to refine, point and deliver user stories.
- Adhere to standard security best practices.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate for This Role:
- Experienced enough to hit the ground running and contribute from day one.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model, REST APIs, and code versioning tools such as Git.
- Strong understanding of React 16.8+ core principles and workflows including a good understanding of Hooks and how to use them.
- Either experience in or, willingness to learn how to develop microfrontends using single-spa.
- You are a builder. A learner. Curious and hungry. A desire to learn.
- You are looking for career advancement opportunities
- Experience with software design principles as well as UI prototype design
- Ability to write quality unit, functional and automated tests
- Experience with Git as a version control system, in conjunction with solutions such as Bitbucket, GitHub or GitLab
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Excellent comprehension and communication skills
