The Deposit Services team provides operational support to First Republic clients, both external and internal. Responsibilities

The Associate Business Analyst, Deposit Client Servicing will work as a key resource responsible for daily production support of the Deposit Client Servicing product. This product facilitates client information changes such as address and phone/email updates. This role will assist both front-line bankers and back-office support teams who run into issues in the workflow. Some issues stem from training gaps, some issues stem from deviation from procedural guidelines, and some issues will have to be investigated as potential bugs, for which manual workarounds will have to be given.

The Business Analyst is expected to be a self-starter, detail-oriented and highly organized, requiring minimal oversight after training is completed. The role requires exceptional communication skills and team work, as well as an ability to build and maintain working relationships with colleagues across the organization, from within the Deposit Services team, front-line bankers, and other back-office teams.

What you’ll do as an Associate Business Analyst, Deposit Client Servicing:

  • Provide real-time production support to front-line bankers and back-office teams for issues encountered while performing their tasks in the DCS application.
  • Work closely with first line triage group to evaluate escalations they cannot resolve
  • Refer to published procedures to help diagnose reported issues
  • Gather system knowledge via training to understand root cause of issues
  • Work closely with the technical team to investigate root causes of systematic errors encountered in the application
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor
  • Attend meetings as required.
  • Adhere to and complying with the applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to Anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US Patriot Act etc.)
  • Adhere to Bank policies and procedures.


Qualifications

What skills you will use as an Associate Business Analyst, Deposit Client Servicing:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field
  • Banking or financial services industry experience
  • Strong experience with troubleshooting and customer service
  • Prior experience in a Business Analyst role
  • A thorough working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies is required
  • Experience interfacing with business and understanding business requirements and existing systems
  • Excellent skills to understand business process management
  • Ability to self-start and learn quickly
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direction
  • Ability to multi-task and work on competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and present instructions in a concise and summarized fashion
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Deadline orientation
  • Team player
  • Ability to provide extraordinary service

Job Demands:
