About the role-
Primarily focused on:
- Upgrading and improving operating environments.
- Creating repair strategies.
- providing technical support and training for users.
- Installing and maintaining operating environments.
- Monitoring these operating environments.
- Responding effectively and speedily to any problems.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues.
- Providing training and support.
- Ensuring operating environments stay safe and secure.
- Updating any software and hardware where necessary.
- Documenting all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
About You—
Experience & Technical Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering with three to five years experience
- Must know how to use database systems management software, enterprise resource planning software, and web platform development software
- Passion for providing world-class service levels to our clients and internal stakeholders (some of them very senior)
- Experience and proven success in working with fast moving, globally distributed tech teams and going above and beyond (including flexing your working hours) to make things happen
- Experience in deploying/maintaining infrastructure platforms & software solutions (ideally Microsoft Azure and AWS)
- Experience working on cloud-based services (including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with a solid understanding of continuous integration, delivery and deployment challenges, Configuration management best practices for developing and deploying cloud applications
- Deep understanding of latest DevOps tooling and practices
- High proficiency with monitoring tools
- Very good understanding of the Microsoft Eco-System (Azure, SharePoint, Azure DevOps)
Soft Skills:
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Extensive knowledge of data laws.
- Experience in project management and giving professional presentations.
