About the team
FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform (Front Arena) is FIS’s flagship product which is cross-asset trading, risk, and position-keeping system. It caters to front-office, middle-office, as well as back-office functionalities. It supports exchange as well as OTC trading. FIS Cross-Asset Trading and Risk platform integrate with various external systems, trading platforms, and data providers for reference data, market data, credit pricing data, trading data, regulatory data, etc., which enables users to perform high-volume trading as well as to manage their exposures and operational controls.
What you will be doing
Based on our highly collaborative office environments in Pune, we are looking for a Specialist – Business Analysis for an industry-leading trading applications team. The selected candidate needs to perform functional analysis, requirement gathering, and elicitation for integration with data providers like Bloomberg/Refinitiv for reference/market/Corporate Action data, with ICE/Markit for CDS price data, etc. Understand and analyze various regulatory compliance like MiFID II and its reporting needs. Complement back-office functionality with Swift Messaging (MT/MX), and freeform confirmations. Handle trade life cycle for trades perform on different trading platforms etc. The candidate will have opportunities to utilize knowledge in the capital market domain to enhance product features, which in turn meet client requirements and enhance their experience. The candidate’s responsibilities include
- Collaborate with clients to understand new requirements and create BRD
- Performing functional analysis for the business requirements.
- Partner with clients to perform functional analysis of the requirement
- Understand product and identify ways to further improve it
- Analyze functional issues reported by clients.
- Conduct demos and training for customers.
- Functional mentoring for development and QA team members.
- Contribute toward functional validation of the solution
- Co-ordinate with product management to contribute toward creating product roadmap
What you bring:
- 8+ Years of relevant industry experience as a business analyst/domain consultant
- Strong functional knowledge of various asset classes, and their valuation
- Knowledge of trade life cycle, CDS pricing, corporate actions
- Knowledge of back-office functions like confirmation/settlement, Swift messaging (MT/MX), freeform confirmations etc.
- Knowledge of FPML, FIX, TOF, etc. protocols
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting like MiFID II
- Exposure to European exchanges like SAX, XETRA, EUREX, LIFFE etc. will be an added advantage
- Proven aptitude in business analysis.
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical/functional matters and communicate them succinctly.
- A solid understanding of financial markets and electronic trading platforms.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, strong teamwork skills, and ability to work without close supervision
- Customer oriented, result oriented and well-organized
- High energy levels, demonstrating the attitude and drive to take on more, do more and be more. Also bringing with them a high degree of flexibility and adaptability.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Finance, or related from a reputed institute
- Financial certifications like CFA/ FRM is added advantage
