About the team
This team is a involves in Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. Work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions ensuring alignment with business and IT strategies and complying with FIS architectural standards.
What you will be doing
- Provides application software development services typically in a defined project.
- Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
- Makes recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code
- Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented.
What you bring:
- Must have 6+ Years experience of Unix/Linux based applications, including a very good knowledge in Unix/Linux commands and System Administration.
- Must have experience in setting up and configuring Linux Unix server.
- Experience in networking basics and troubleshooting and downtime Knowledge is must.
- Good exposure to Linux and Unix Commands and System Administration skills.
- Knowledge of Production Support and Ticketing, Incidence and Change management.
- Good to have release management activity experience.
- Must Strong automation experience using a variety of scripting languages like Shell Scripting, Python, etc..
- Should have SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) mind set and work for an applcation stability improvement.
- Should have good Analytical and Problem-Solving skills, driven to exceed and an independent thinker.
- Should’ve Good Interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
- Experience in ServiceNow tool, Splunk, Dynatrace will be an added advantage.
This position is required to work between 2.00 PM – 11.00 PM IST and work in the weekend based on the business need for change execution.
