What you will be doing:
- Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables
- Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
- Researches, compiles, analyzes and reports various operational data from multiple sources.
- Meets with report users, determines report requirements, understands where data is located and designs processes to retrieve data.
- Creates queries and reports through use of reporting tools to create efficiencies.
- Design, develop, conducts unit testing, and maintains reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use
- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet.
- Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides
- Prepares ad-hoc analysis as requested.
- Leads and/or participates in department projects as assigned.
- Research questions related to report information and calculations.
- Audits questionable report information.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.
What you bring:
- Proven years of experience as an SQL Developer or similar role. Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS
- Proven experience in developing and working Power BI and / or Tableau driven dashboards, analytics.
- Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing the performance of workbook.
- Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools
- Knowledge of Sales Operations is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organization, team and time management skills.
