About the role:
As an Implementation-Conversion Analyst – Senior Specialist you will be the face of FIS, working closely with our clients as they implement FIS Retirement and Banking solutions. You will examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of our customers, in order to facilitate business requirements, functional designs, data mapping and system conversion specifications. This role develops an understanding of and defines client products and services through information gathering sessions to determine how FIS systems must be established / set up, functionally, to meet client needs. Through data analysis, interviews, requirements gathering with FIS Clients, this role assesses requirements for existing software utilization and/or software customization to meet client needs.
This is an expert professional role, acknowledged as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will work with clients and lead internal and external teams to develop large and/or complex business process solutions that require detailed analysis and research across business lines, technical, functional workstreams and client domains. You will act as an internal consultant for highly complex issue resolution. You will be assigned as a lead to the most highly visible, sensitive and critical projects and may be used in a consulting capacity.
About the team:
Our Team is comprised of several roles that all collaborate both internally and externally to implement existing, new and customized FIS Solutions for our clients, as well as coordinate very large data conversions of our clients’ customer’s information to those same FIS Solutions. Our Team has a tremendous amount of industry knowledge and professional experience and we all work together a cohesive unit to Implement and Convert Clients to FIS Solutions, on time, on budget, while exceeding client expectations.
What you may be doing:
- Conducting data analysis, product mapping and client interviews to assess data requirements for software utilization.
- Creating data maps and transaction workflow documents that show exactly how every field will be converted.
- Performing tests to ensure new, customized software meets customer specific needs.
- Coordinating and conducting readiness reviews to ensure conversion is proceeding correctly.
- You may train, coach and mentor functional and technical staff within and across applications.
- Acting as an on-site / off-site resource during Implementation/Conversion to answers questions, troubleshoots problems as they occur, supports implementation of new procedures, conducts last minute training if necessary and provide support during conversion / go-live week.
What you will need:
- Retirement Recordkeeping Implementation and / or Conversion experience
- Proven Lead Role experience
- The ability to translate client requirements into technical specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent human relations, negotiation and documentation skills.
- A bachelor’s in business or a related field or the equivalent experience
- The proven ability to identify additional opportunities to provide more products, services or other resources to customer.
- The ability to demonstrate superior presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to be a self-starter, work autonomously, seek out solutions versus just identifying problems.
Added bonus if you have:
- A minimum of ten plus years of Retirement Recordkeeping Implementation and / or Conversion experience with a demonstrated ability to handle high project complexity.
- Multiple years’ experience with FIS Applications
