About the Team
Virtus Trade Entry (VTE) is responsible for processing securities trade transactions, as well as reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting loan documents and correspondence to ensure system accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
- Review, analyze, and interpret correspondence related to account maintenance for deals in a client’s portfolio
- Ensure trades are taken in via the CDO dashboard and booked in a timely manner for reporting
- Serve as liaison between Client Services and the client to ensure concerns and escalations are handled in a timely manner
- Research and resolve internal and external questions and problems related to deals, accounts, and clients
- Perform high-risk task processing, including maintenance on deal levels due to trade position issues
- Meet production standards for deal level trade management
- Monitor daily reports and follow-up as needed
- Perform quality review of trade blotters and trade settlements
- Generate and manage correspondence for clients and Client Services
- Maintain internal procedure manuals and develop drafts for changes
- May be designated as Team Lead and perform quality checks for other analysts
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- Typically, at least 3 years of experience in banking or financial services
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- Experience reading and interpreting credit agreements and other loan documents
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret funding memos and trade blotters
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with generating correspondence and updating procedural manuals
- Capable of maintaining a good working relationship with both internal and external customers
Added Bonus If You Have
- Experience with trade booking and trade settlements
- Working knowledge of trust systems, MarkIt, and ClearPar
