Job Location: Camas, WA
The Fisher Investments Institutional Group (FIIG) serves a global client base of diverse investors, including corporate, public and multi-employer pension funds, foundations and endowments, insurance and financial institutions, healthcare organizations and governments. As an Institutional Client Operations Analyst, you’ll challenge yourself and grow by working with members of Senior Management, Research, Investment Ops, Finance and LCD, all while developing expertise surrounding Institutional asset management.
You’ll develop the skills required to lead long-term projects relating to new Institutional clients, Institutional fund vehicles and ongoing process improvements. You will learn nuances of regulatory regimes, and develop the ability to converse intelligently with legal counsel and compliance officials both internally and externally. We’re looking for someone who can build long-term internal and client-related projects. Within the first year, you’ll add value by serving as subject-matter expert surrounding Institutional asset management, regulatory complexities and internal process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Be a point of contact for our Institutional client requests, ensuring clients receive the best service possible
- Manage large cash flows
- Coordinate complex reporting requirements for clients
- Onboard new accounts using the appropriate processes and procedures
- Manage the maintenance of Institutional fund vehicles by coordinating with custodians, internal teams and global regulatory bodies
This is the job for you if you:
- Have the ability to quickly jump between tasks of widely-varying nature with high levels of ambiguity and adjust priorities frequently in response to client and business needs
- Know how to marshal multiple business groups to onboard new clients and respond to client requests.
- Can compile and understand information sets, drawing conclusions as needed to resolve complex regulatory or client issues
- Have a firm grasp on the nuances of Fisher’s structure
- Know how to partner with clients and prospective clients
- Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication skills
- Understand how to properly handle and document confidential information
