Job Description
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Data Scientist/Analyst in Chennai /Pune
Here is a glimpse of what you will do:
- Build machine learning models for advanced analytics CoE
- Work in supply chain analytics with ability to understand and articulate advanced analytics solutions.
- Analyzes the supply chain data such as demand, inventory, purchase orders from various systems and helps the Data Scientists and other analysts to define the problems and expected outcomes.
- Help the team to build the models and solutions using data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and machine learning techniques and statistics.
- Analyze and interpret the results of analytics experiments
- Train other team members by imparting Data Science domain knowledge
The experience we’re looking to add to our team::
- 7+ years of experience in Data Science in managing and/or analyzing the data.
- At least three years of experience in working with large/leading ERP systems data Experience in dealing with data and analytics manufacturing domain/companies
- Experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Proven ability to articulate the insights from dashboards, reports, and data.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree e.g., Math, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, Economics, Econometrics.
- BTech/BE/MBA from IIT/IIM highly preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self-driven, energetic, flexible, resourceful & ability to multitask
- Adherence to committed timelines, without sacrificing quality of output
- Hands on and detail oriented, with a strong ability to co-ordinate across different geographies and with different stakeholders at President/VP levels
