Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
As demand planning spoc this person will be responsible for understanding the market landscape, key demand drivers, and seasonality to project the demand plan for Hyper-Local and Grocery business – 1 month, 3 month and AOP. The person would also help the entire team with respect to data analysis, modeling and analytics led projects.
What the Job Entails :
1.Assess market trends and seasonality to project demand shifts by category
2.Data Analysis and making sense from millions of rows of data
3. Developing new forecasting models in order to increase the accuracy of forecast
Qualifications and Experience :
- B.Tech from Tier 1 College with 3 yr experience in Analytics, modeling.
- Knowledge of R/Python and other modelling tools.
- Knowledge of basis statistics and forecasting methodologies.
- Knowledge of eCommerce, Retail, consumer goods industry is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence across all levels of the organization
