What You Will Do:
About eyeSight and eyeExtend :
eyeSight: Forescout flagship product eyeSight discovers every IP-connected device, auto-classifies it, puts it in context and assesses its policy compliance and security posture the instant a device connects to the network.
eyeExtend: The integration platform of flagship eyeSight product. It integrates with IP Connected Devices for the purpose of threat discovery and applying policy to block threats.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and unit test Forescout product features to enable advanced automation across multiple different types of security products, such as advanced threat detection, next-generation firewall, SIEM, vulnerability management, etc.
- Help develop the eyeExtend platform framework. This is a Java and Python-based platform with scalability to handle data from multiple endpoints, apply traffic classification rules and threat prevention actions.
- Work with senior technical leaders and product management team contributing to product use case and roadmap definition
- Work with QA, technical publication, support, and other teams to ensure high-quality end-to-end product delivery
- Rapidly learn, evaluate and explain emerging security technologies
- Assist Forescout technical and strategic partners in developing highly effective applications based on the Forescout platform and SDK
What You Bring To Forescout:
- Most importantly, a true startup spirit with a strong “can-do” attitude willing to wear multiple hats when needed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
- 1-2+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on experience with at least two of these languages: Java, C/C++, Perl, Python, JavaScript
- Working knowledge on TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH, and other networking protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams
