The FTS Institutional group comprises groups viz. NBS, PA, GCSS, Institutional Recon, Shared Services. The senior leaders of NBS and other Institutional groups require management information on a periodic (Monthly/Quarterly) basis regarding important/key metrics of the business on financial, operational, process etc. parameters.

This includes commentary/analysis for metrics that may need detailed explanations and additional insight that can help the leader s appropriate decision in respective business areas. This information is also used for tracking/budgeting/planning purposes.

The NBS team out of ISC comprises team members who drive/ support this key data required in addition to performing core business functions i.e., Onboarding and PA Events.

In addition to the reporting/analysis requirements, we also are focused on business automation and process improvement – supporting/driving key projects and initiatives for FTS Institutional. In addition, the team also provides analytical support to other leaders on internal business consulting projects.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Senior Analyst – FTS NBS

Design/generate and distribute management reports related to FTS NBS and FTS Institutional in accurate and timely manner. Providing commentary on topics requiring management attention.

Develop business context to understand upstream and downstream of the data flow and in-depth understanding of data sources, tables and data relationships in a short period of time.

Develop and maintain strong business relationships with aligned stakeholders and supporting business structures.

Define new reporting requirements and provide recommendations to update current reporting to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.

Assist with automating all applicable manual reporting and data processes to ensure optimal organizational efficiencies and conduct continuous audits of internal data processes.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues.

Work in a team environment composed of middle and senior management.

Support Business Leaders to with their projects/initiatives. The nature of such initiatives would include but not be limited to customer experience improvement, operational improvement, metrics development, report production.

The activities expected to be performed in such a role will include but not be limited to project management, client liaison, business analysis, data analysis, identification and implementation of re-engineering initiatives Prepare and review operational and management reports.

NBS and Institutional metrics.

Perform analysis and investigate variances.

Monthly Dashboard, bi-monthly Business Units Reports.

Support divisional presentations.

Analyze and support digitalization and automation of business processes.

Support FTS Institutional team in digital initiatives.

Support division communications.

Support business projects as appropriate.
What ideal qualifications, skills amp; experience would help someone to be successful
-
Bachelor s degree in business or finance or technology.
-
6-8 years working experience in mid to large organization.
-
Understanding financial data.

Solid knowledge of business desktop applications: (MS Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power Apps).

Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formula, pivot table, chart, graph, formatting, etc.)

Solid knowledge of Data Science/Reporting/Automation tools e.g., SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, Acceptor, Power BI.

Solid communication skills in English.
