Job Detail:

We are recruiting for a preiemer client that is a hospital. We are looking for a remote, Business Analytics consultant and/or Data Analyst that has experience from a hospital or a physician practice that has supported Revenue Cycle Operations. It would be preferred to find a Data Analyst from a hospital that has support revenue cycle team and revenue optimization. Full time, permanent with full benetifts.

The right person must have experience using SQL to extract patient data from the EPIC database. They do not want someone that has only queried pre-extracted data or received the data through a separate BI Tool. This person must have used SQL to pull from EPIC directly and has revenue analytics data experience. On the business side the individual is looking at reimbursements, Denials, AR Aging, and Claims data to optimize and report revenue for this hospital more accurately. Any experience with SAS would be a plus, not required.

Revenue Cycle Analyst:

Skills highlighted (not in order of importance):

•Strong SQL and SAS skills required

•Subject matter expertise in healthcare revenue cycle

•Familiarity with Epic HB, PB Revenue Data Model and experience querying the Epic Clarity database is strongly preferred

•Ability to understand business requirements and translate these to technical specifications

•Ability to code complex reports and data extracts, and perform appropriate QA of these

•Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors from an Analytics perspective; this role will be dedicated to working with our partners on identifying diversified revenue streams.

•Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with vendor partners and internal business stakeholders.

•Ability to work on competing priorities without compromising the quality of work.

•Collaborate to size potential revenue opportunities leveraging deep subject matter expertise.

•Provide timeline estimates for completion of deliverables, and effectively manage to those timelines.

Types of projects they will work on:

•Extracting complex data sets from Epic Clarity database for multiple vendor solutions in a timely manner

•Ability to interface between Analytics and Revenue Cycle operations, partner with business to solve business problems, and incorporate insights into operations and workflow

•Interacting with vendors and internal partners on specifications for data extracts

•Infrastructure building, including but not limited to contributing to establishment of a standard code library for HB and PB, producing quality check documentation etc.

ABSOLUTE MUST HAVES:

• SaS, SQL, Epic, Clarity, HB (Hospital Billing), PB (Professional Billing)
• Must be able to pull data from Epic Clarity Database
• Must have experience working for a Hospital, Clinic, or other healthcare delivery systems like a Pharmacy etc.
• HB, PB Revenue Data Model experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,000.00 – $117,000.00 per year
