Responsibilities:

The Operations Analyst works collaboratively with Service, Collision and Executive Management to develop and implement strategy, process and reporting that maximizes sales and profitability for the Service department.
  • Develop and implement effective business analytics that drive improved decision making, efficiency and performance within the Service and Collision Departments
  • Work cross-functionally with Parts and Sales to maximize the company’s success
  • Drive strategic initiatives through project management and Continuous Improvement tools
  • Utilize internal and external systems to weave together (ie. Uptime Pro, SSI, Procede, etc) integrated and inclusive business solutions
  • Support employee growth and retention through Training Department growth and development
  • Works collaboratively with company staff to resolve process related issues and ensure solutions implemented are effective
  • Strategically partner with Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) to foster a collaborative relationship
  • Ensure the network operates in a standardized way ensuring the customer’s experience is positive and consistent at each location
  • Assists with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


Job Requirements

Education
: Bachelors degree preferred. PMP or CAPM preferred.

Other
: Must have valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Experience
: Preferred 3+ years of Heavy Duty Truck Dealership experience. Experience with a Dealer Management System, preferably Excede systems. Experience with Adobe Captivate.

Skills
: Possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, ability to use presentation, word processing, and database or spreadsheet software, self-motivated; able to work within a project based environment; must be professional and safety minded at all times. Excellent communication both verbal and written, listening skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Conditions

Physical Demands:
(These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Safely walk, reach, bend, climb, lift, reach, push, twist, repetitive hand motion, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the essential job duties. Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time.

Environmental Demands
: Primarily indoors with some outdoor work. High noise level. Personal protective equipment, including ear and eye protection, should be used and will be provided.

Hours
: Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM.

Travel
: Occasional travel required.
