Overview
As a Machine Learning Engineer, at a senior level, you will use machine learning (ML) capabilities to build and/or leverage existing algorithms to learn from data, for the purpose of building models that provide accurate predictions or find patterns with new and unseen similar data. You will use ML frameworks to create and deploy new technologies, identify opportunities to improve products and practices, perform data ETL, statistical and analytical analyses, and communicate insights and recommendations to internal customers. You will lead large and complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Write production grade code in python and participate in code review sessions
- Write unit test cases
- Manage architecture and design
- Develop and Deploy RESTFul services in python to expose ML solutions to integrate with other applications
- Create training and inferencing pipelines
- Data Analysis – Explore and visualize data to gain an understanding of it
- Implement complex data validation strategies, feature engineering on a given dataset
- Work in highly complex projects with multiple team members using Agile methodology
- Independently lead complex projects involving small to medium groups of team members
- Collaborate with Data engineers, Data scientists/researchers and other ML Engineers on complex business requirements to develop and deploy ML powered
- applications and services at scale on Cloud
- Train, help and mentor junior engineers in the team
Qualifications
- 7+ years of overall expereince in relevant field
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Good SQL knowledge
- Good hands-on coding skills with Python
- Ability to write RESTful services in python using Flask or similar framework
- Good experience using pandas and numpy libraries
- Strong understanding of ML algorithms and concepts
- Good exposure and experience with statistical analysis of data
- Has experience creating automated feature engineering pipeline using Airflow.
- Some exposure and experience with MLOps for Model Tracking, Model Serving
- Some exposure and experience with MLOps for identifying Data Drift and Concept drift in a deployed ML Model in production.
- Strong Exposure and experience to use Machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, xgboost or similar
- Comfortable with Linux
- Experience with CI/CD processes using Gitlab
- Experience building and deploying solution on AWS or GCP cloud
- Ability to write operationally efficient and optimal code
- Good understanding of and ability to follow standardized practices and procedures for problem-solving for a diverse range of challenges
- Technical and operational proficiency in solving complex problems
- Results oriented
