Responsibilities: A Senior Analytics Specialist should be the intellectual engine for projects in which data analytics capabilities are required. The following are the skillsets that we are looking for in a candidate
Problem solving
o Structure and design data requests and data quality checks without supervision and be able to understand the data landscape (Data sources, EDW, Data Lake etc.) of the client
o Own the set-up of development environment required to execute and deploy data pipelines and analytics models
o Support the definition of data and analytics methodologies and design concepts to deliver various analytics use-cases – provide a senior level of expertise
o Own and Lead the development of complex data and modelling pipelines across all the development lifecycle
o Manage the deployments of data and analytics artifacts into client production, working alongside client technical teams
o Familiarity with a broad base of analytics tools (one or more of the following):
- Data management: e.g. SQL, PostGRESql, Hadoop/Hive, Spark
- Analytics platforms: e.g. Python, R, SAS
- Data visualization: e.g. Tableau, PowerBI
- GIS – QGIS, PostgresSQL (PostGIS)
- DevOps tools-Git, DVC, RestApi, Flask
o Experience in core analytics methods (one or more of the following):
- Statistics (t-tests, ANOVA), variable reduction (FA, PCA),
- Segmentation/clustering techniques – K-means, Hierarchical clustering, Geographic cluster recognition and manipulation techniques,
- Predictive modeling: e.g. logistic regression, linear regression,
- Machine learning: e.g. LCA, Random Forest, neural networks
o Partner with Advisory consultants to produce clean, well-structured, error-free and conceptually sound outputs to project analyses
Client management –
o Partner with Strategy consulting team to create stories and narratives using the insights from model outputs in presentation format
o Bridge the gap between technical data science and business concepts be comfortable in both business and technical interpretation of insights
o Liaise with mid to senior analytics counterparts from the client
Personal and Team management –
o Supervise and coach junior data scientists and provide quality assurance for their outputs
o Strong presence, strong collaborator and leadership skills and ability to operate effectively in a matrix
organization are a must
o Contribute to internal IP development efforts
o Proactively understand major issues affecting the TMT industry and investigate opportunities for
analytics to add strategic value to them

Experience and Skills:
- Quantitative degree from a top school or previous relevant work experience
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- 4-6 years of relevant experience with similar responsibilities
- Previous experience in management consulting or in the telecommunications industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Solid knowledge on the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry
