About Product:
SiteRecon is a sales solution for SMBs particularly the landscaping and lawn care companies – in the United States, Canada, and Australia. The platform is designed to order survey features of any particular site and then explore the site and deliver measurements data on a map. It also has tools to work on top of the delivered data.
Job Summary:
SiteRecon is looking for a GIS Analyst who makes maps and customized geographic information systems applications and manipulates data to serve a variety of purposes. They read and interpret maps, manipulate and understand digital land data, and manage data entered into a GIS database.
You will be working together with the core team of SiteRecon – all graduates from IITs working at the cutting edge for the past few years, CEO (LinkedIn), CPO (LinkedIn), and CDS (LinkedIn).
Duties and responsibilities
- To work on GeoServer in publishing various Layers and administrative Activities
- Understanding customer requirements, implementing and deploying the solution in a Production environment
- Supports other members of the development team to ensure all solutions are developed timely and to the highest standards of quality while resolving any technical challenges encountered.
- Researches and provides solutions for GIS-related requirements.
What do we look for in?
- Candidates must meet the set of requirements related to relevant education and qualification, Knowledge on Navigation mapping, GIS tools & Technology.
- Experience required for this position – 1 to 4 years
- QGIS, ARCGIS (Plus points)
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts and geospatial technologies.
- Preferring candidates with less than 3 weeks notice period.
- Experience in developing interactive geospatial applications and content using Open Source components such as QGIS,Open layers.
- Documentation skills to create requirement documents, design documents, user manual etc.
- Flexibility to adapt and manage within a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
- Detail orientation and proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
- History of teamwork and willingness to support the team to get the job done.
- Self-motivated, flexible and reliable.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geoinformatic Science or Any diploma degree in the same field.
- Good communication ,organizational and networking skills
Other Details:
- Morning- Night Shift depending upon the project requirements.
- Number of working hours- 9 hours
- Working Days: Monday-Saturday ( For Saturday, it completely depends on the project requirements).
