Data Analyst – Full Time
This position is responsible for working directly with customers to evaluate their
current data situation and develop plan to help clean up their data leveraging
RoutineAI. Functional areas of interaction could be in Sales, Marketing, Supply
Chain, Finance, Procurement, HR and Manufacturing functions. Candidate should
be capable to quickly learning customer’s processes and data architecture
irrespective of the functional area of interaction and become the trusted guide for
data cleansing activities. The Data Analyst is responsible for business
requirements gathering, functional analysis, future state data design, data
transformation template creation or adoption, validation rules creation and being
an expert in RoutineAI. This position will focus as the liaison with stakeholders in
order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to
business processes, policies, and information systems. They work closely with
customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and
provide integrated solutions based upon data architecture and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Should be capable of working independently. Liaison with the business
stakeholders to gather business requirements.
- Converting business requirements to validation rules and/or transformation
specifications and executing them in RoutineAI tool Constructing data
architecture or data templates which meet validation or transformation
requirements, promote re-use and continuous monitoring of RoutineAI
components, and facilitate ease of support
- Conducting unit tests, component integration tests, systems and acceptance
testing, correcting problems, and implementing changes to ensure
adherence to validation and transformation needs
- Coordinating issue resolution with RoutineAI engineering team.
- Preparing or providing input to written documentation for business requirements,
validations, transformation rules and processes
- Creating and maintaining the overall IT solution documentations for respective
areas
- Creating and managing the data validation or transformation project plan
- Specifying and maintaining the required deployment and testing environment
- Participating in system and acceptance testing and deployment readiness
testing
Requirements:
- 3-5 years* experience as IT Business Analyst or Data Analyst.
- Understanding of relational databases and data lakes.
- Expert in writing SQL queries and handling, aggregating and transforming data.
- Good to have knowledge of Python/any statistical language.
- Expert in customer communication, requirements gathering and understanding
customer’s data landscape quickly.
- Working experience as Data Stewart is a plus.
- Experience using ETL solutions is a plus.
- Experience in transforming data for Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud and Salesforce is a plus.
