Gallup is looking for an experienced Python developer to help build exciting new products and maintain our core infrastructure — a combined web application and data processing/analytics platform.
You will develop, build out and maintain applications in AWS using relational, NoSQL, Python and specialized databases like Snowflake.
You will also collaborate with internal partners to anticipate challenges, mitigate risks, and track and monitor trends to proactively solve problems. Your expertise will play a critical role in providing the exceptional service that clients expect from Gallup.

What you need:
- At least five years of professional software development experience required
- At least three years of experience working in Python required
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in education and experience in computer science, MIS or a related field required
- Understanding of Python multi-threading model and multi-process architectures preferred
- Working knowledge of AWS cloud technologies and boto3 library preferred
- Experience with at least one web framework such as Django or Flask preferred
- Experience with libraries such as pandas, NumPy and PySpark preferred
- To live within a 200-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, preferred
