We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on Business Analyst to join our Advanced Analytics Team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex business contexts and is passionate about data and analytics. This role will be pivotal in supporting Marketing teams to meet their challenging goals by providing targeted and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in similar analytics roles with a strong technical background.
Job Duties
- Build analytical tools and solutions addressing business needs and questions enabling better decisions by leadership.
- Mine and interpret data around specific questions
- Analyze information to bring forward insights and recommend optimizations to improve long-term results and bridge top-lower funnel analytics
- Partner across the business to support marketing initiatives and growth goals, report on performance, determine measurement approaches, generate actionable insights, and set analytical strategy for new challenges
- Create and maintain reporting and dashboards to track key marketing metrics across multiple data sources leveraging SQL, R/Python and Tableau, and other visualization tools; monitor for changes in trends, share insights and make recommendations
- Develop solutions for automating reporting and repeatable analysis
- Manage template and delivery for a standard reporting cadence with appropriate levels of data granularity
- Evolve and adapt reporting methodologies in the ever-changing media landscape and business needs
- Develop meaningful insights and stories from internal and external 3rd party data sources
- Interface across internal business teams as part of the process to provide analytics solutions
- Create, enhance, and manage marketing dashboards, maintaining related systems and developing new processes
- Wrangle data from multiple sources including social media channels, newsroom data sources, brand tracker and other databases to create solutions that can be used to drive decision making
- Provide regular updates and generate quantitative results from marketing investments
Qualifications
- Knowledge of SQL, BI (Tableau, Looker, Qlik), and Google Analytics
- Comfortable extracting, transforming, and loading data
- Comfortable developing analytical frameworks, metrics to measure ongoing business performance and understand key performance drivers
- Familiar with Google Analytics or other web analytics platform
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, very collaborative and environment
- Must possess a keen analytical mindset and high capability to plan, organize and prioritize work – balancing resources, skills and priorities to achieve success.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $51,300 and $120,750. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
