About the Role:

Analyst Engineer will provide technical expertise in designing, managing, and administering Databases in Cloud (AWS & Azure) to meet the shifting organizational demands. You will engage in modernization activities to migrate application databases to open source and cloud and will be part of automation efforts to enhance provisioning and operations of all types of datastores.

Job Specification:

  • Perform installation, configuration and upgrading of databases on all environments
  • Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL in on-prem and cloud-based environments.
  • Working experience on Azure and AWS cloud database technologies
  • Good knowledge of database fundamentals and deep knowledge of database architecture and concepts
  • Hands-on experience in all generic database administration activities
  • Must have T-SQL skills & manage Database security tasks
  • Maintain sound backup policies and procedures
  • Hands on experience with PowerShell
  • Proactively working on Performance and Blocking issues on servers by auditing Databases
  • Preferably good to know ServiceNow, Jira, datadog and Splunk tools
  • Good knowledge of automation for provisioning and administration tasks
  • Provide 24×7 support of the database environment, including on call support

Job Requirements:

  • 1-2 yearsโ€™ experience in Database Engineering/administration/Troubleshooting/Maintenance with a bachelorโ€™s degree (B.E., BTech.)
  • Experience in migrating and/or managing databases in on-prem & cloud (AWS, Azure).
  • Excellent debugging skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team and other internal stakeholders
