Job Description Summary
As the Enterprise Application Engineer, you will develop/customize aPriori Cost Models (VPE) using 3D CAD model by working with manufacturing process experts for Aircraft engine parts.

Job Description
Cost as a Technology team develops Physics based methods in aPriori to estimate part cost. These customized aPriori cost models are extensively used to generate Should Cost for aircraft engine parts. To develop aPriori cost models, one needs to have understanding about manufacturing processes used to manufacture parts, Manufacturing routers, cost drivers etc.
Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Be a major contributor to various initiatives in the areas of Cost technologies development.
- Deliver customized Cost estimation processes in aPriori VPE environment based on 3D CAD models
- Should costing of Aviation parts based on developed methods
- Deliver with high quality & with first time yield as an individual contributor or under the guidance of a Development Leader and independently for smaller assignments
- Own, analyze and resolve defects and issues
- Thoroughly follow defined processes for delivery as applicable for the team
- Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with minimum 2 years of experience in Cost/Price estimation or CAD/CAM Customization or product design or manufacturing
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree in Mechanical/Production engineering from an accredited university or college
- Experience in CAD/CAM Customization or Cost/Price estimation or product design or manufacturing
- Aptitude to learn quickly, ability to identify and raise issues, risks and benefits, being open minded to new perspectives or ideas
- Passion for learning and developing expertise in programming languages & data analytics skills
- 1+ years of experience/exposure in CAD tools like NX, Catia, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership at all levels
