At GDIT, we support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in detecting and preventing fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) in the Medicare and Medicaid programs.
Responsibilities

Develop new Tableau dashboards and monitor, maintain, and enhance existing dashboards.

Translate findings into actionable insights for non-technical audiences

Be a creative problem solver bringing innovative solutions to FWA challenges

Follow CMS Fraud Prevention System (FPS) best practices for dashboard and visualization design to ensure consistency and high quality across FPS

Present your work to a nationwide audience of investigators and other stakeholders at monthly workshop meetings
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Statistics, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field with an analytical or technical focus (i.e. finance, economics and science) and or 5 years of experience.

2+ years of Tableau development experience.

Ability to take initiative without immediate direction or supervision

Basic SQL skills are required
Desired Qualifications:

Tableau certifications desired but not required

Knowledge of R or Python is a plus

Data science expertise including some understanding of machine learning concepts is preferred
