Responsibilities

Manage and administer internal databases and undertake DBA activities




Develop, document, and maintain support processes, procedures and solutions




Share knowledge and best practices




Assist and support other areas of the business to meet business demands




Implement and embrace new processes


Scheduled delivery of reports and other solutions to meet customer needs




Work in line with internal control and governance practice




Awareness and understanding of business impact of data controls and criticality on operations for any related failures




Resolution of incidents to ensure timely fixes and tactical improvements to all internal systems




Support the internal infrastructure to provide accurate & timely data from core systems




Support front-end dashboards to enable operations to utilize them for decision-making and analysis




Development of improvements to internal systems, processes, and monitoring tools.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation Degree or equivalent level qualification

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Advanced Impala/Hive SQL skills




Intermediate SQL – T-SQL, Oracle, DB2




Intermediate SSRS / SSIS




Knowledge of T&BI systems




MicroStrategy / PowerBI




Database design and development




Basic knowledge of Kimball & data modelling




Advanced Excel & Access




Basic scripting (batch, .NET, VBA, Powershell)




Data ethics and understanding of data management in a regulated environment




Communication with key stakeholders




Basic project management including Agile knowledge
