Role:

Inviting applications for the role of AWS Cloud Data Engineer- In this role, you would be part of the capital markets domain for building data pipeline and applications over AWS cloud environment. You will be responsible to work with various sources/systems to create data pipeline by integrating/aggregating/storing using AWS services and harvest over Snowflake.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with client to understand requirements and provide adequate support to various stakeholders
  • Understand their existing data landscape and migrate data from SQL server to Dynamo DB (No SQL) over AWS
  • Build/Improvise the data lake environment over cloud and storage over S3
  • Integrate data from various sources to aggregate over landing zone as per the requirements
  • Harvest/Orchestrate the data by applying business rules and convert that into meaningful and consumable information
  • Working with business to understand the need for creating data pipeline and data ingestion process using snowflake
  • Integration of orchestrated data with downstream systems to consume/populate reports using variety of visualization tools, as the case may apply
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple tasks/initiatives with multiple deadlines

Technical Experience:

  • Experience on data engineering, data science, and software engineering
  • Hands on experience on AWS cloud platform with S3, EC2, lambda and Data Pipeline
  • AWS Dynamo DB (NO SQL) experience for Meta configuration and integrating with Java application
  • Good experience on SQL Server, ETL and reporting using SSIS/SSRS
  • Snowflake experience to create data pipeline, SnowPipe/SnowSQL, Building Virtual warehouse
  • Extensive knowledge in different programming or scripting languages preferably Java programming and python is a plus
  • Expert knowledge of data modeling and understanding of different data structures and their usage and limitations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate/B Tech/MCA/M. Tech
  • Knowledge/Exp. of Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Good to have experience on Java Programming.
  • Experience on Datawarehouse and Data lake environment
  • Knowledge of Data Modelling concepts, dimensional model
  • Strong NoSQL DB exp and writing complex DB SQL Queries
  • Good understanding of Snowflake|SnowPipe|SnowSQL
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skillsGood Interpersonal, Problem solving and Communication skills
  • Good to have experience on web/Data scrapping and transposing data from one form to other.
