Come join our team at Georgia Crown Distributing Co. as a professional, reliable Business Analyst. Georgia Crown is a full-service alcoholic beverage distributor with wholesale operations doing business in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. Position will work with users in various business areas to identify change needs, assess the impact of the change, capture and document requirements and then ensure those requirements are delivered, all while supporting the Company through the implementation process.
Responsibilities:
Position will work with users in various business areas to identify change needs, assess the impact of the change, capture and document requirements and then ensure those requirements are delivered, all while supporting the Company through the implementation process. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide 2nd level support as needed for users of ERP, Sales Analysis, Sales Ordering, WMS, and other systems – after hours support will be required at times but not often

Work with Senior Business Analyst in support of the following:
- Develop functional specifications and provide training/instruction for ERP (System 21 Aurora), modifications, new applications, and company practices
- Test programming work that affects ERP processes
- Provide focused training for users for all applications as needed
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- The ability to work closely with stakeholders to determine acceptable solutions.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 4 year college degree in IT or Business field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager.
- Must have extensive knowledge of ERP and WMS system concepts.
- Previous IBM System i (AS/400,iSeries), SQL or Business Intelligence (BI) experience preferred.
- Must be detail orientated and able to distinguish between similar processes
- Must be able to use logic and critical thinking in problem solving, including the ability to look at a problem using a “big picture” approach and consider multiple options.
- Must be able to deliver effective solutions that provide tangible benefits within short timeframes.
- Must have the ability to forge strong relationships and ability to facilitate team atmosphere to solve technical challenges.
- Must be willing to accept constructive criticism and handle conflicts.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
- Must have and be able to maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Must have reliable transportation and ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
