THE OPPORTUNITY
The i4.0 Data Quality Analyst is responsible for using his/her knowledge of data processing software, analytics and key indicators to define a route of action to improve the quality performance within the region and within the plants. Duties include collaborating with other members in the organization to collect and analyze data, create reports based on his/her findings and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement databases and data collection systems in the US Gestamp facilities.
- Work closely with i4.0 regional and plant teams to monitor data, confirm accuracy of data and react accordingly.
- Follow escalation process and track corrective actions until closed.
- Validates correction by further analysis.
- Grow i4.0 quality systems to be more autonomous.
- Improve analytics of software.
- Ensure KPIs and dashboard layout grows with system and business goals.
- Monitor and react to trends in data.
- Prepare and present results to top management.
- Maintain data systems.
- Supervise, train, evaluate, monitor and positively motivate Plant i4.0 teams.
- Perform various other jobs as deemed necessary and appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Information Systems or other related field required. Will consider equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience as data analyst required.
- Minimum 5 years’ quality experience working in an automotive quality assurance or quality control environment.
- Strong experience with dimensional analysis of stamped/assembled automotive components.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of CMM measurements/ GOM scanning.
- Must have the ability to read customer drawings and knowledge of GD&T.
- High proficiency in part dimensional evaluation.
- Proven experience as a strong team player, with exceptional organizational and problem solving skills (8D).
- Excellent computer efficiency, positive motivating people skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Well organized and self-driven.
- Experience working with coding (SQL and Python).
- Ability to make professional analysis/presentations to top management.
