1. Location: Coimbatore
2. Purpose of Position: Technical support to global customers for Frontier & Latitude Brand dispensers from India. This position will diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems and act as a SME for regions to help support on issues that cannot be resolved at regional level. He/She will monitor trends and generate insights to develop content to systematically reduce the field issues through proactive communication, trainings, tools etc. The objective is to continuously improve Internal & External customer satisfaction levels through best technical service and support regions in creating good impression about the product and after sales service resulting in generating more sale/revenue
- Understand function of dispensing unit and different configurations
- Providing help and answers to the customers’ technical issues through identification of the problem itself, research on answers and subsequent provision of guidance
- Provide tech SME support to Customers including answering technical queries, analyzing problems, and quickly forming solutions to make dispensers operative
- Maintain detailed records of daily interactions with customers, installation activities, reported issues, and solutions provided along with any further actions required.
- Looking at trends from issue repository, generate insights and suitable training content/manuals and troubleshooting procedures to help both support personnel and end users interact properly with dispensers.
- Leverage LMS to drive e-learning content and usage in regions/channel/customers
- Own and develop the training content and calendar for region/channel/customers
- Interact with customer directly to understand customer technical needs and gather voice of customer
- Warranty claim approval and support Spare parts management
- Quick grasp of new productIncrease personal technical knowledge by reading technical write-ups, operating manuals, and diagnostics information, and attending Workshops/Kaizens as and when required.
- Create and implement technical support processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction while reducing costs
- Use VBS tools and participate in Kaizens to continuously improve the tech customer support process
- Reports to: Sr. Manager Customer Service
- Key Relationships:
o Regional Sales & Technical team and distributor/customers (end users) across the Globe for technical support
o Co-ordination with GPM and Engineering/ Reliability teams for new development, feature addition, bug fixing etc.
o Co-ordination with Quality for CDT&R and warranty claim settlement
o Coordinate with operations for process/workmanship improvements
Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have
Total Experience in years: 8-10 years of proven work experience as a technical support engineer
Graduation/ Degree: B.E in Engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronics). Relax able for deserving candidates
Domain (Preferred Industry) – Retail Petroleum or similar
Skills required (in detail) Expert in
- Good knowledge of dispensers and its features/ functions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
- Work experience in dealing with customers
- Experience in imparting trainings
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel and power point
- High customer and service orientation with good logical thinking
- Experience with bug tracking and management tools.
- Familiar with all phases and processes involved in product management in field
