Job Location: Remote

We’re looking for a technically minded specialist to enable our global Revenue organization. Your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the knowledge pipelines and connections for GitHub’s cutting edge AI + Data product offerings. This role is responsible for architecting learning pathways, building strategic relationships across the company, and driving actionable next steps across multiple audiences and stakeholders within Revenue. You’ll work within a Technical Enablement team of specialized peers, united under the charter to equip Revenue teams to convey the true value of GitHub’s future and current product offerings. The ideal candidate will have the aptitude and passion to become a master of GitHub’s product capabilities, underlying technology, and competitive advantages. You should be reasonably aware of major trends in software development.

Responsibilities

  • Drive advancement in Revenue organization’s ability via initial training and continuing education of sales skills and knowledge. This includes:
    • Architecting and maintaining AI + Data Product learning journeys, with an eye for takeaways and outcomes that go beyond awareness
    • Collaborating with L&D to build and iterate on synchronous bootcamps or sessions, asynchronous learning modules, and opt out assessments
    • Facilitating or organizing sessions for AI + Data topics to the Revenue field
    • Monitoring appropriate company communications for AI + Data chatter, providing weekly summaries of key takeaways
  • Work with other upstream organizations such as Product, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Analytics, and L&D in a consistent feedback loop, identifying areas where Revenue needs additional enablement
  • Document the field teams’ needs, collecting existing articles, and contributing to internal knowledge bases as a resource for other teams, customers, and partners.
  • Work with Technical Enablement leads to understand organization priorities and impact

Qualifications

  • Experience with enablement, training, or similar roles relating to software development
  • Experience facilitating and hosting live sessions
  • Strong technical abilities. It’d be ideal if you had experience with GitHub Copilot.
  • The ability to condense key information from several sources + voices
  • Strong business acumen with exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to enable and lead cross-functional working groups that span both technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Excellent critical thinking skills that allow you to assess opportunities for process improvement
  • Tenacity to overcome unexpected challenges and roadblocks in pursuit of team goals
  • Strong familiarity with GitHub: our product and our community

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $73,500 to maximum $156,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

  • Note: Disclosure as required by sb19-085 (8-5-20) of the minimum salary compensation for this role when being hired in Colorado.

Location: In this role, you can work remotely from anywhere in the United States or onsite in one of GitHub’s U.S. offices (San Francisco, Bellevue, Raleigh).
