Data Analyst – Remote
- Contract Duration: 1 year
- Pay rate up to $50/Hr
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- Knowledge and working experience of scrum-based Agile methodology.
- Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, communication skills, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of full data migration implementation lifecycle including pre-project phase’s execution – Data profiling, Data cleansing, Estimation, etc.
- Conducting meetings and discussions with Businesses to resolve the queries encountered during data mapping.
- Analysis of source system data to be provided to Business for requested business scenarios
- Preparing data mapping document specifying the requirements and transformation rules.
- Collaborated with product owner/developer frequently for quality assurance of deliverables
- The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering and understanding business needs and translating them into effective user stories/requirements/data mapping sheets
- Facilitating workshops and discussion sessions with various business stakeholders. Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Create data mapping sheets. Analyze the issues during the data loads.
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
- Conduct Gap analysis and depict the relevant requirement.
- Communicate, and negotiate requirements for end users.
- Propose business solutions and estimate the effort required
- Communicate requirements to the project team and validate requirements have been met.
- Participate as a pivotal team member in design, review, and planning meetings.
- The Data Analyst works as a global team to develop optimal solutions that meet customers’ and business needs.
- Assist in User Acceptance Test for user stories and assist the Product Owner to sign off UAT.
- Expert knowledge of SQL queries.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Knowledge of creating data mapping sheets
- Knowledge of the Insurance domain
- Knowledge of the JIRA tool for the requirement.
- Knowledge of SQL
- Experience: More than 7 years
