Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
We are looking for someone who is passionate about using rigorous analysis to answer challenging questions. Success in this role requires strong data analysis and communication/presentation skills, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Job Responsibilities?
- Own the?end-to-end?master data attributes and make the respective Business owners accountable for Source system data integrity.?
- Perform large-scale data analysis to answer customer questions and help drive product development insights.
- Understand data landscape?i.e.?tooling, tech stack, source systems etc. and work closely with the IT/Other business teams to improve the data collection and quality.?
- Processes exist for data quality issue resolution in partnership with Stewards & Analysts?
- Data added to data sets are consistent with the common data model?
- Versions of Master Data are?maintained?along with the history of changes?
- Change management practices are applied in maintenance of the datasets?
- Devlier?KPIs, Metric and Identify Areas of Risk, Drive Analysis, Patches?
- Generate data and use reporting tools to?provide?accurate?information from disparate data source systems?
- Analyze reported data to?identify?opportunities to drive efficiency, reduce costs,?identify?problem areas, and recommend improvements?
- Perform data analysis between touch points, root cause analysis on any gaps/issues, design, develop &?validate?the reports using?PowerBI?reporting platform.??
- Work with various stakeholder groups, ensuring that business requirements are captured and met?
- Designing and maintaining KPIs, dashboards and reports that support decision making within the organization with?a high level?of quality and accuracy?
- Maintaining and executing SQL against both structured and unstructured data sets?
- Directly work with the ETL Engineers and Data Engineers to communicate and define reporting requirements?
Required Qualifications:?
- Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or Computer Science or Information?Technology or?a related field?
- 5+ years of data Analysis experience with proven industry experience in a?large-scale?environment??
- 3+ years of experience in any Master data management tool/system.??
- Strong data & modeling background?
- Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and?identify?the stories behind the patterns?
- Exposure to Cloud technology (Azure / AWS) is preferred. Certifications are a plus.
- Experience in building interfaces between (Cloud) solutions using ETL/ELT tools/Middleware
- Good analytical skills are a MUST?required?qualification for this role.?
- Experience in python, SQL (or any query language)?
- Experience visualizing data with Power BI (or similar software)?
- Very good?understanding of CRM, PLM and ERP business processes needed?
- Knowledge or hands on experience with any MDM tools is an advantage?
- Ability to quickly build relationships with department and other stakeholders?
- Aptitude for meaningful interpretation and application of data for the purpose of process improvement?
- Ability to work autonomously and apply problem-solving skills?
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and prioritize in a deadline driven environment?
Preferred Qualifications:?
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
- Domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management.
