Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience within management consulting, investment banking, or internet/media industries.
  • 2 years of experience using SQL or other programming/scripting languages.
  • 2 years of experience in people management including mentoring and developing a team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in an ad sales, ad support, finance, data science, or strategy and operations role.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Experience with external resources like SQL, a BI visualization tool (e.g., Tableau), and version control (e.g., GitHub).
  • Knowledge of any programming language.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, or Ad Manager.

About the job

As Business Intelligence Manager, you will lead a team of analysts using databases to activate business short, medium, and long-term priorities. Plan the team’s work, design practices, and processes that ensure that global resources are useful and available to partners and Sales teams alike.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google’s complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of analysts focused on display advertisements, measurement technologies, the Google Marketing Platform, and the YouTube/video business.
  • Work with the Vice President and director-level partners to communicate team plans, set objectives and key results (OKRs), identify priorities, and scope efforts.
  • Empower the team to develop scalable/shareable business tools, dashboards, data, and programs using internal Google tools and platforms.
  • Define and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) to lead global initiatives that will be used by regions, countries, and business pods in all business channels, including supporting three executive-level reviews (e.g., display and video for direct response, display, and video for brand, measurement).
  • Be a strategic thought partner to commercial leaders of the display, measurement, and video products by using data and experience to make actionable recommendations.
