Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in statistical or machine learning modeling.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools (e.g., BigQuery, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations.
- Ability to articulating business questions, pulling from large datasets (SQL) and using statistics to recommend solutions.
- Knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation.
- Interest and understanding in data, metrics, analysis, and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving skills with excellent business judgment.

The Corporate Business intelligence (BI) team provides a full range of BI/analytics services from data curation to report, analysis, and insights for our partner teams. Corporate BI helps teams make better data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business (processes, systems, etc.), needs, and formulate strategies and roadmaps to enable data-leveraged capabilities that directly lead to measurable improvement in business performance metrics/key performance indicators (KPIs) over time.
- Conduct analysis that includes data discovery, analysis, requirements gathering, and clarification with stakeholders at all levels.
- Work with large, complex datasets to solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems, applying advanced analytical methods as needed.
- Use statistical analysis to create and deliver insights to stakeholders. Make business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) through visual displays of quantitative information.Research and develop analysis, forecasting, and enhancement methods to improve the quality of Google’s enterprise services.
- Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, and ongoing deliverables/readouts.
