Job Location: San Diego, CA
Minimum qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1 year of experience with machine learning or computer vision
- Experience in programming languages (i.e, C++, C, or Python)
- Experience in Computer Vision algorithm
Preferred qualifications:
- PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in algorithm and hardware design trade-off analysis
- Experience in image processing and digital signal processing
- Experience in techniques for hardware power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization (e.g, pruning, NAS, quantization)
- Familiarity with ISP algorithms and architecture

Responsibilities
- Explore and identify technical directions for new imaging and video Machine Learning (ML) models, algorithms, and architectures
- Construct the specifications of the proposed ML models
- Work closely with architects, algorithm experts, research, image quality, and software teams to identify and develop new ML models
- Optimize models to run on a network processor or design for hardware acceleration
