The Lead Data Governance Analyst will possess a deep understanding of Data Governance, how a program is established and the connection between governance and business outcomes. You will be a key enabler to organize the Data Governance Programs. You will work with the key data leaders across Grab to guide and support them with data governance initiatives. Additionally, you will provide the heavy lifting of the program to write policies, develop streamlined processes and enforcement methodology, detailed analysis and key metrics.
What to expect

Enable Data Governance framework including managing the objectives, approach, processes, policies and procedures around data governance and execution of the overall Program

Build robust and scalable data governance ecosystem to support business needs and regulators and compliance requirements, technological innovations & improvements

Define data governance operational processes (e.g., data quality measurement) in accordance with policies and standards, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities

Provide consultation to business units and legal/privacy/Cyber Security security teams to establish and maintain data policies and standards that enable use-cases and ensure regulatory compliance

Support and contribute to development of guidelines and standards for data classification, data security, privacy with Risk, Compliance and Regulatory functions

Think strategically by proposing business metrics / alternative approaches to measure data governance value

Collaborate with the relevant parties to ensure the correct processes, people, and technology are in place in order to support the data governance framework

Coordinate the data governance processes, chairing meetings across DGC leaders & DGO members

Delegating responsibility for Action Items & ensuring AIs are addressed by their assigned owners

Foster improved data quality and reporting, tracks metrics, manages internal communications

Assist in decision making by providing oversight and issue resolution across DGC, DGO leaders
