Position Details:
Build and analyze data to improve sales coverage models for retention and acquisition of targeted customers. Participate as a important member of team focused on optimizing and deploying sales coverage to maximize revenue and Return on investment. You will manage coverage data, develop important metrics and dashboards to measure projects of Coverage team.
You Will:
- Oversee, update, and analyze coverage data to support needs of team
- Review target customer and prospect data associated to coverage optimization.
- Work with other data-driven departments to improve processes and data quality.
- Use reporting and analytical tools to bring relevant information to the business on trends and analyze Customer data impact on the P&L
- Work with large customer data sets to summarize meaningful business insights identifying patterns, trends and translating those into applicable insights
- Build and deploy tools to execute and measure against Grainger’s defined coverage strategy.
- Consolidate large amounts of data that can be visually represented to address a business problem.
- Be a contributor to the continuous improvement process associated to customer data.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Math, Finance or related fields
- Professional with 2+ years of work experience in a B2C or B2B industry
- Strategic thinker grounded in analytics
- Database management including in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Access, PowerPoint; experience with SPSS, SQL, VBA or Teradata.
- Analytical capabilities and demonstrated work with business metrics.
- Translate information requests into practical outputs.
- Communicate customer/seller insight findings
- Collaborate and develop relationships across several areas
- Operate in a changing environment while observing tight schedules and budgets.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
